Five years and a cease and desist from one of pop culture’s biggest names behind them, Anno (formerly Olivia Neutron-John) is back on the scene zeroed in on in their pre-midi fascination.

With their music, Ruth Mascelli pairs slinking, synth-fuelled transcendence with crooning, existential balladry and reverberating cosmic romanticism. Something which the Kingston-based musician – who also forms one quarter of Special Interest – evidences on their second solo record Non-Stop Healing Frequencies, self-described as a collection of “paranoid torch songs”, and the “esoteric diva” channelling companion release The Institute For Astral Health.
