So pumped for this night! I first got turned on to Turbo Sonidero on a drunken night listening to DJ Shaki spin his record Lowrider Kumbias at Tubby's. Which is why it's all the more sweet that this DJ night is presented by Shaki (who is also opening)

Turbo Sonidero is a music producer and record collector from California/Mexico who blends Rap with Cumbia Sonidera (sound system). He is a co-founder of Grupo Jejeje and also the-founder of Kumbia Net, a collective that promotes new and up-and-coming cumbia producers from Mexico and beyond. It's like screwed and chopped cumbia with dubby bits. So sick.
